An Interdisciplinary Education

The education of students for academia, industry, and government is one of UD-CCM’s primary objectives. Our students also have the opportunity to interact with visiting students, faculty, and researchers from industry, government agencies, and other universities in both the U.S. and abroad. The philosophy underlying graduate and undergraduate research programs at UD-CCM is that development of students into productive, proactive engineers is best accomplished in an environment of discovery, where research is an integral part of education and where students play an integral role in solving real-world problems.
