| The progress from liquid to gel to vitrification is caused by the formation of rigid cross-linked networks. These stages of cure are defined as follows: - Gelation- the incipient formation of an infinite molecular network: the system will not flow. - Vitrification- the glass transition temperature (Tg) rises above the cure temperature. - Full cure- the highest attainable degree of cure. |
