Introduction
- The CMAP (Composite Materials Analysis of Plates) software package has been developed to facilitate analysis and design of laminated structures, which consist of distinct layers of composite materials.
- CMAP calculations are based upon the traditional plane—stress and zero transverse shear deformation assumptions of classical thin plate theory.
- The GUI of CMAP is designed to be as generic as possible and allow for real time stress-strain analysis of composite laminates subjected to mechanical and/or hygrothermal loads.
