  • CMAP is a powerful design tool for predicting the structural response of laminated structures to mechanical, thermal and moisture loading.
  • CMAP4 can be used to determine optimal laminate or sublaminate structural design parameters to achieve minimal weight and maximum stiffness.
  • CMAP4 can back calculate effective properties of structural armor elements based on experimental data generated by CDS-DART.
  • CMAP4 communicates directly with CDS-MAT to generate effective properties for subsequent FEA analysis.
  • Latest additions to CMAP:
    • Option to analyze disconnected structures (A-B type analysis)
    • Natural frequency results for disconnected structures
    • Progressive failure stress-strain plots
    • "Adaptive Analysis" features added (new CDS option).
