The First 25 Years:
"A Look Back, A Look Ahead"
In conjunction with the symposium Composites
2000, CCM published a 25th anniversary commemorative volume, which is
available on-line in a PDF
file (1.4 MB), viewable with Adobe
Acrobat Reader. It provides an overview of the history of the Center
within the context of a relative timeline of world events. It also features
the respective viewpoints of former CCM directors Vinson, Pipes, Wilkins,
McCullough, and Wool. (Former Executive Director) Karl Steiner's perspective,
entitled "A Look Back," begins the volume; John W. Gillespie Jr.
closes out the 25-year view of CCM with his perspective, "A Look Ahead."
