Senior Research Fellowships
- six credits of senior research
- a research report
- an oral defense to a committee
of faculty members
NOTE: The
requirements for a Senior Research Fellowship are similar to
those for the Degree with Distinction established by the University
Honors Program. Consequently, students meeting course and
grade-index requirements are encouraged to participate in the
Honors Program as well. Note that you must enroll in the Honors
Program by the end of the spring semester for Honors Program
status the following fall.

An application for a Senior Research Fellowship must include the following:
- transcript
- resume
- one-page proposal describing the research project
- identification of faculty advisor for the project
