The Materials Input Window:

Clicking on any material in the menu tree or the Materials Tab will bring up the Materials Input window. It is divided into two sections. The left section contains a property tree when clicked will bring up various property sets. The right section has two tabs. A Standard view shown above or a Table View shown below. Clicking on any row will highlight that row indicating that this is the data being edited. Also note that the slider bar at the bottom also changes to allow the user to interactively vary the selected input.

Clicking on any material in the CDS3 main menu tree will bring up properties for that specific material. There is no need to reclick the property tree to look at particular property sets.

Editing these properties permanently changes the property data in the database. If you wish to modify some properties to do a parametric study without losing the original information is it advisable that you make a duplicate of the material first and then modify the inputs as needed.

Clicking on the "Materials" menu tree item will also bring up the table view shown below.
