Welcome to the CDS: Composite Design and Simulation Environment, an advanced software application for designing and analyzing composite structures. With this software, an designer engineer, process engineer or student can quickly determine the effective properties of composite laminates, conduct micromechanics calculations, as well as virtual process simulation and optimization.
This software provides built in user materials database functionality, FEA export and has a number of unique modules for structural mechanics simulations. A menu tree environment is used to quickly sore and retrieve data generated within the software, imported from raw data or exported to common FEA input formats.
This help menu is provided to aid the user in quickly getting started as well as provide detailed information on generating and optimizing virtual laminates, conducting progressive failure and exported data for subsequent analysis
